About Sudbury
Sudbury Reef is a little coral reef, with a few unmemorable cays but no substantial islands, lying about 20Â km off the east coast of Far North Queensland, Australia. It is allowance of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park at approximately the thesame latitude as Cairns.
Birds
The reef has been identified as an Important Bird Area (IBA) by BirdLife International because its cays, with a entire sum land area of practically a hectare, have supported exceeding 1% of the world population of lesser crested terns (with going on to 5000 nests recorded).
