Bedworth ( or locally /ˈbɛdərθ/) is a spread around town in the borough of Nuneaton and Bedworth, Warwickshire, England. It is situated amid Coventry, 6 miles (9.5 km) to the south, and Nuneaton, 3 miles (5 km) to the north.
In the 2011 census the town had a population of 30,648.
Geography
Bedworth lies 101 miles (163Â km) northwest of London, 19 miles (31Â km) east of Birmingham and 17 miles (27Â km) north northeast of the county town of Warwick.
Bedworth has six main suburban districts, namely Collycroft, Mount Pleasant, Bedworth Heath, Coalpit Field, Goodyers End and Exhall. Exhall is a generic state for the area surrounding junction 3 of the M6 motorway, comprising parts of both Bedworth and Coventry. Around 1.5 miles (2Â km) to the east of Bedworth is the large village of Bulkington, and regarding 2 miles (3Â km) to the south-west, separated by a curt gap is the village of Ash Green.
